Applied Catholicism
Each Tuesday, we gather for dinner and discussion of some aspect of our faith. We begin by reading and talking about the Gospel from the lectionary for the coming Sunday. Then, we learn about the faith, with a different topic each week.
Past topics have included the Mass, the Saints (who they are and how to become one), Conscience, Church structure, each of the seven sacraments, Catholics and Protestants, Suffering, Sex, the Environment, Catholic Social Teaching, “Faithful Citizenship”, Scripture, and Women in the Church.
